Watervliet is not considered to be South Troy. The website given in the most recent email on this topic is sponsored by the USGS (US Geological Survey), which happens to be the topographical map makers for the country. The name of the MAP on which Watervliet is located is the *Troy South* map (a map which includes both sides of the Hudson River). They carefully do not say South Troy which would mislead people.
