Hello. I'm looking for any info on my gr-gr-grandfather, William Gallagher, b 1822 and died after 1870 in NY State. There is a Wm Gallagher in Schaghticoke that has the same birthdate,1822, and died 1896, buried Elmwood Cem, Morning Sun Twp. Does anyone know if there are and where I could find death records that would have info on his family? Newspapers with obits? This William served in the civil war Co A 125 Reg. NYV. Thank you, Ethel
