Hi, Just in case there are any newbies on the list, I would like to post my ancestry interests again. I don't think I have posted them since I joined over a year ago. Wish me luck!! William and Ellen Gray(maiden name unknown)-oral history states they arrived from Ireland in the late 1810's or early 1820's. Son, James born June 1842 in Troy. Son, Thomas Lyman born April of 1848, also Troy. James enlisted in the Civil War (Navy) in November of 1862 mustered out in Cairo, Illinois and remained there the rest of his life. He died in 1913. Wife: Susan Vinson. Thomas is in Mass. in 1862. At age 16 enlists in the Civil war (infantry) in July of 1864 and musters out in July of 1865. Resides in Webster, Ma. until his death in 1925.
