I have added Albany Rural Cemetery (101,000 graves) and Oakwood Cemetery (over 50,000 graves) to my Guide to Albany Area Genealogical Resources. These are the two largest cemeteries in the area. Earlier this month I added a preliminary section on the Albany Roman Catholic Diocese Cemetery Office. It can direct you to Catholic cemeteries in 14 counties. This section was revised and expanded Saturday. I had also added information on the office of the Catholic Archivist and what information is available there. You can now get information in my Guide for the 11 cemeteries managed by the Albany Roman Catholic Diocese Cemetery Office. But, I have also written to the proper person to encourage them to post the contact information for the 87 parish run cemeteries in the 14 county area of the Albany Diocese. If they don't want to do it, I have asked for permission to post it on my website since I already have the information (from them). Cliff
