Hello, Terry I can't help with these MILLARDs you mentioned, but I wonder if anyone out there recognizes an Amelia MILLARD who was born in about 1840 and who must have lived in Troy when she was a child. She deposed in 1894, while residing in Muir, Ionia Co Michigan, that she had known Azelia VAN BUREN WHITAKER AUSTIN (1831-1917) from the time they were children. I am certain that Azelia lived in Troy, Rensselaer Co NY when SHE was a child, and right on up until her marriage there in 1849, when Amelia was about 9. MILLARD might be Amelia's married name; if so, what was the maiden surname of this deponent Amelia? Thanks for any clues! And good luck with your MILLARDs, Terry.
