    3. I have been on this list before but believe I have not given my search information. I had a gguncle, James C. Scullin, who married Tacy M.[SCRIVEN] about 1849. Their first daughter was born in MA, but they returned to Grafton about 1850. I believe this was because Tacy was a Scriven. I am trying to track down what happened to James. This is my the information that leads to my mystery: Troy Directories: 1864,1866,1867-James Scullin Peddler,address-2nd and Main in South Troy Troy Directories: 1868,1869 Mrs. James C. Scullin, address-557 2nd The 1870 directory has her living at 557 1st. I assume since she was not listed as James' widow, he was still alive. Troy Directory: 1890 lists Elizabeth Scullin widow of James Scullin, address-Vanderheyden C. 6th Ave.,Troy James did not have a son, so I am going on the premise, that James must have divorced and married an Elizabeth. I have not been to Troy and I do not know about divorce records and since I have not narrowed down a possible marriage date for James and Elizabeth I can't search for a marriage record. James seems to have left Troy since he was not in 1870 directory. Interesting thing I found his single brother living at the same address as Tacy M. Scullin in the 1870 directory. They were living with Chloe, Tacy and James' daughter. She was an unmarried schoolteacher. Around 1877-78 Chloe and her mother Tacy left for Iowa for Chloe's marriage. I have been to their burial place and James is not there. If anyone in Troy knows where my James C. Scullin is buried, Pleeeeeze let me know or give me an idea what to do next. Thanks so much for listening. Joan Firth Kaysen
