Hello List, Haven't posted in awhile and decided I'd throw this query back out to the group. Any know anything about these Babcock, Green(e), Morey or Bly families? Sorry if posts twice -- the first message was sent under an unsubscribed email address BABCOCK, Jonathan C. b:April 6, 1800 Stephentown, NY area m:(1st) c1824 Ann MOREY (Ann died after birth of daughter Jane Ann BABCOCK), (2nd) c1827 Lucinda GREEN(E). Jonathan and Lucinda had the following children: Lucinda b:May 15, 1828 in Stephentown area, Orlando b:1830 d:1833 Henriette, NY, Jonathan C b:1832 d:1836 Henriette, NY, Almira b:1837 in Henriette, NY, Sarah b:1839 in Henriette, NY, Olive b: 1842 in Henriette, NY, Jonathan C. b:1844 in Henriette, NY. My unsolved mystery revolves around the parentage of Jonathan C., Ann MOREY and Lucinda GREEN(E). Here's the leads I currently have. Jonathan C. BABCOCK's parents are very likely John BABCOCK b: 1770 (son of Silas BABCOCK and Phoebe WOOD) and Amie BLY (Daughter of Jonathan BLY and Eunice SPENCER -- Eunice's parents were Peter SPENCER and Margaret CLARK). John and Amie reportedly had atleast two children; John B. b: June 20, 1804 d: March 24, 1857 married Mercy CHASE and Jonathan Clark b: April 6, 1800 married Ann MORE on Jan 5, 1824. The only trick is I have not found any confirmation of the above except what I received from another researcher. I have no leads as to the parents of Ann MOREY/MORE and Lucinda GREEN(E). Any help, references, etc., on any of these individuals would be greatly appreciated. Judy
