Pat and his helpers did a phenomenal job on the 1880 Troy census for the 6th Ward. I tried to transport selected 6th ward census entries into spreadsheets and finally hit upon one that worked. I selected several entries, did a copy (CTRL+C) and then an insert (SHFT+INS) into a new Excel spreadsheet. Everything was transported correctly. I had to widen a few columns to make some fields fit, but that only took a few seconds. Now I can sort the resultant spreadsheet for any field(s) and get even more use out of it.
