The whole 6th ward is up on line now at the freepages url (see below). There are 4,557 entries/names. Many thanks to Bob McConihe, Lynn Grice and MaryAnn McConnell who helped transcribe it. Without them, this would not be possible. The complete entries will be up on GenExchange soon and I'll let you know when that happens. They will also include marital status, race, whether they could read or write, babies under a year's month of birth, newlyweds month of marriage, and many interesting items under notes. We are now working on the 12 Ward which includes St. Joseph's Church and it's surroundings in South Troy. To all of you who wrote to volunteer, I will be getting back to you today. Now that I have the whole ward up (took a week to format and upload), I have time to print and scan census pages to send to you. If anyone finds some family in the census, I will be glad to send you a copy of the census page if you, in turn, transcribe another page for future on line research.
