Hello Listers, Ned had given me a suggestion of looking up family on the 1850 and 1860 census INDEX. He was going to the LDS library today and he offered to look them up but unfortunately I didn't get the email until this morning. Does anyone have access to the 1850 and 1860 INDEX for New York State? I have called 3 libraries in a 10 mile radius and none of them have historical indexes. If no one has access, I will head into downtown next week where I am sure(fingers crossed!) they have the indexes. Thanks, Patti Smith
