    3. I am looking for any information on Isaac LAMB and (poss) wife, Lydia RICHARDS. They were UE Loyalists and went to Canada right after the Revolution, in 1787. Isaac stated that he had land in Phillipstown, Rensellars Patent. I have assumed that is another spelling for this county. One source stated that Isaac's father's name was also Isaac. Is or was there a Phillipstown in Rensselaer Co.? Any help would be appreciated. Joan Best

    3. Joan, Phillipstown (Philipstown) in Rensselaer Co. was renamed Nassau. It is in the very southern part of the county near the border with Columbia Co. I got this from a gazetteer of places that had had their names changed. http://www.rootsweb.com/~nygenweb/places/nameso_r.htm Cliff http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~clifflamere/ Joan Best wrote: > > I am looking for any information on Isaac LAMB and (poss) wife, Lydia > RICHARDS.
