Hello all, Is anyone researching the Van Buskirk family who lived in Troy,NY in the mid-1800s? I am researching LOVETT. I located my g.g.g.grandfather's family, Ulysses,38, Georgiana, 29, James W.,11, Mary A. ,9and Charles G, 2.and several members of his family in the 1850 NY Rensselaer Co Census for the City of Troy's Third Ward. According to that census, there were two other people living in the Lovett home at that time. Their names were: VAN BUSKIRK William male age 23y born NY moulder married within year VAN BUSKIRK Mary J. female age 20y born NY married within year. The census said the Van Buskirks were newlyweds, having been married in that same year of 1850. Does anyone know what the Van Buskirk's connection was to the Lovetts? Was one of them a sibling of Georgiana? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Jackie
