Barbara, While researching burials at Oakwood, the very helpful cemetery director informed me that the information captured for burials PRE-1900 included both parents of the deceased, if known. The maiden name of the mother is not always given, however. For burials AFTER 1900, the information recorded was typically for either the nearest living relative or the person supplying the information to the cemetery. I paid $2.00 per request about a year ago. Even if the fee were to be higher now, it certainly is more than reasonable, given the amount of information one receives in return. Good Luck. Carla Johnson
