Does anyone have VR's for Troy-Rensselaer County for 1842 and/or 1848? I need to find information about the parents of: James Gray b. June 10, 1842 in Troy. Thomas Lyman Gray b. April 4, 1848 in Troy. It seems their parents (my GGGGrandfather and Grandmother) William and Ellen Gray, do not want to make it easy for me to find them!! They are not found in the 1850 or 1860 census for Rensselaer County. Thanks Patti (Gray) Smith
