Hard to track down some of my maternal grandmother's family, The Curley's. These Curley's married into the Dunn & Mahoney families. Would you have known any Curley's, Peters or Minnock's? I think that butcher shop was a pizza shop in the 60's? Or a convienience store? Thanks, Don Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. I took a look at the census page. The name is WILLIAM. The surname is a toss-up...could be DEVIN or DEVINE. Unfortunately, the census auditor's notation is directly over the end of the surname. One thing puzzles me. William was only 15 when he fathered Josephine. Not impossible, but she was born in 1882 in NY. He immigrated in 1884. Somthing here is off. I'm wondering if he really was her father, or perhaps had some other relationship to her. Of course, the info is only as good as the person giving it.
