I'm primarily looking for surname of wife Phoebe. I have rather complete information on his descendants from personal research and family records. Members of the Brockway-L at Rootsweb have helped me link him with the Brockways from Lyme, Conn > Albany Co, Montgomery Co, NY. John and Mariah REDDING parents of Charles, Emily, Elizabeth, George, Cordelia, Frederick, Salina, and Ellen (all listed in the 1855 NY Census of Rensselaer Country, Sand Lake, as REDDEN) Orson R BENNETT, married Ellen REDDING, ca 1864. He was a Civil War soldier in the NY 21 Cav, Company F. Orson and Ellen were the parents of Henrietta, Alice, Mame, George, Charlotte, Hiram, and Harry. Orson and Ellen Redding BENNETT are both buried in the Sand Lake Union Cemetery. Henrietta BENNETT married Oliver WALLINGFORD. Their children were Howard, Helen Elizabeth, and Alice. Ernst TAMM came from Germany around 1882 and sent for Wilhemina Knebusch in 1883. They lived in Eagle Mills and were the parents of Robert, Anna, Edward, Ernest, and William. I'm just starting out and don't have too much info, but will be happy to share what I have. Vickie Nelson

    3. My great grandfather was Thomas and my great grandmother was Catherine Byrne Ryan. They had 7 children, my grandmother being one of them. The old Homestead restaurant owned by my Uncle Ray Ryan used to be in Lansingburgh about where McDonald's is now. My grandmother Theresa was married to George Doe, a Troy firefighter and later insurance man.
