In the early 1900's my Opa (grandpa) emigrated from Westphalia, Germany. The town they were from was Ilvese. Church records were from Heimsen because Ilvese was too small to have a church. Their last name was Luebkemann. Some family members changed it to Lubkeman. They moved to Woodhaven. One sister married into the David family and another married a Koster.
