I would like to order my cousins social security card application. He was born in 1900 and a man with his name and date of birth are listed as having died in 1966. Joseph's son died in the 1970's and his other two children are women so they're pretty hard to find. My problem is that in order to get the social security application what I found says I have to provide a death certificate or some other source of information saying the man has died. Because I don't have enough documentation to prove a connection to Joseph the only source I can come up with is the information on Ancestry. Does anyone know if that's enough? There's also a site called archives.com that promises instant access to Joseph Brown's death record but I'm skeptical. Kathy
