According to the ancestry.com SSDI data Joseph Brown, born 19 March 1900, died Feb 1966 in Far Rockaway, NY 11697 I'd love to have not only his SS-5 but also his death record. Maybe then I'd be able to locate his grave. Some of the cemeteries have so much info to share! I've been researching for longer than I can remember and I don't recall being aware that there was a long form that I could request! I do seem to recall asking for any information they might have about another family member and they very nicely sent me some weird form I hadn't seen before and said there were no other records. FWIW I've been told Joseph's wife Margaret was very active in her local community.
