His was was Julia Holmes born 17 jan 1834 in ireland and died in new york around 1898. their son was john henry powers born 30 oct 1872 in brooklyn new york and died there on 7 march 1947 his wife was a mary ann dunn born around 1877 in brooklyn and died 25 aug 1905 in brooklyn.
