Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/WUB.2ACI/1260 Message Board Post: My geography of NYC is lousy so please forgive posting if these men do NOT turn up to be in Queens I have two photographs taken in New York City which I am trying to "date" First was marked Edwell Studios address looks like 245 or 745 West 125th Stree New York 2nd is hard to read the script used to post the name but LOOKS like Poulsterli & Briefer 1535 Third Avenue New York this last was SUPPOSED to have been taken in 1898 Anyone have access to some NY city directories who might be able to clue me in on these photographers and the dates they were in business?
