    2. Thanks. I didn't know that. Did everyone have to register for the draft in 1924 like like they did in the 1950's? It seems like I don't get answers when I ask about things like that. For instance he worked at Wavecrest convolesent home when I called to inquire about 1940's employment records, the girl said that they hadn't been open that long. Also I called a hotel that had the same name and address as the place where my grandfather lived and they were real evasive. Glenwood House now Glenwood hotel, same address. What am I doing wrong? These are facts that I know yet cannot find anything out. Do you have any advice on how to ask? It would be greatly appreciate. Sorry to impose like this but I am new to this kind of research.
