Hi List, The FILIP family came from Czechoslovakia in the 1890's. Frank & Henrietta Parasova Filip settling in Manhattan then in Winfield, Queens by 1910. The CERNYs (Joseph & Ottilia Filip Cerny, daughter of Frank & Henrietta) lived in Winfield and operated a bakery Woodside Av. till the 1920s and then moved to Bohemia, Suffolk Co. by 1930. The ZEMANs, SMIDs and KREPELAs married into the FILIP family. Hoping there are some "lost" cousins out there. Bob Phillips
