When you only have the month and year the person doing the search would have to view daily papers which means looking at 365 copies of newspapers. If you can get at least the death certificate that would give you the information. Or if there is a death index at a library that someone could look up. Do a google search for libraries in Queens. Some libraries have a web page and you can email the librarian for any assistance. Hope this is of some help and hope someone else will have better suggestions.
