I am researching the FLOWER families that arrived early in Hempstead town (he sold 6 acres in 1659 that was located in Hempstead Town). The Flower line ended up with a farm in an area just south of the center of Franklin Square A member of the line still lives in the area at this date. Thanks, Dave Flower
