Hi all, My ancestor Sylvanus Dusenberry Hewlett 1801-1878 and his wife Elizabeth Mott lived in Hempstead for many years. Also the Bonds, my 3rd great-grandfather Walter J. good morning. I am interested in your Hewlett and Mott family. My great great grand famther was Stephen Henry Mott, prob son of Henry and Frances Mott, see Hempstead cenus 1850 and 1860. Stephen married Sarah Jane Soper, b 1841 dau pof Thomas and Sarah Soper. One of Sarah's grandmothers or grt grand moms was a Hewlett; any help is much appreciated.
