Abe died in November of 1972 in Jamaica. He was born in Vinnitsa, Ukraine in about 1892, and emigrated to the US about 1909 through New York. His brother Benjamin was murdered in Rome, Georgia in 1915. They first stayted with an "uncle" named Schapiro when they arrived in New York. My wife, Lynn Franklin, is the granddaughter of their brother, the late Samuel [Shmuel] Frankel/Franklin of Memphis, TN. Bob Sweeney, PhD
