don't know if you have the right cemetery ... here's why ... there is a lawrence cemetery ... which i think has been neglected and is a family cemetery... if this is the cemetery then you may want to call the bayside historical society ... i saw an article in the ny times that they are at the very least overseeing the property ... i say you may have the wrong cemetery because there is an area in nassau called lawrence which is not too far from the rockaways ... just a suggestion if you would like the article let me know In a message dated 7/24/2005 12:01:09 AM Central Standard Time, odessadc@worldnet.att.net writes: Lawrence Cemetery, May 19,1917.
