They just keep telling me that they need the date of interment for at least one person buried there before they can look it up. They only file by date of interment apparently. They don't seem to have ever heard of cross filing, let alone being willing to go out to the coordinates given to find who is buried there (or do a look up with the records for that coordinate given). However, someone was kind enough to volunteer to take a photo of the headstone for me (of my grandparents graves). When she sent me the photo, it showed Joseph D. Johnston instead of John and Beatrice McKee. That's when I called the association back and demanded to know what they did with my grands! I wanted to know who they dumped them in with etc. She then looked up the records and said yes, The McKee's ARE buried there with Joseph. That was either a 4 or 6 person lot. That was when it dawned on me that Joseph was Beatrice's brother (whom I'd not found info on until then). The lady then proceeded to give me a date of death (or perhaps it was interment). The only headstone was the one for Joseph. It had not mentioned the grands names at all, which was why I was getting upset. Considering that I am sure I came off sounding indignant, the lady was good enough to look the records up for me! There was no charge btw...and this has been within the past 2 or 3 yrs or so! . However, again, you DO have to have at least one date of interment (which is silly because if I had that, I'd know close enough to when they died, then I could send for the death certificate!). Anyway, good luck cause I think you'll need it! Perhaps you can find a volunteer to go take a photo of the graves for you? ouizee
