Our local FHC has had free access to all of Ancestry.com for more than two years. I am told that they pay a small monthly fee. Likely the LDS Church pays a good sum to have it available. Some FHC's charge fifty cents or a dollar an hour to use it I have heard. Different areas haw different budgets and they do the best they can with that money. Sharon I'm lucky to have it at home and can use it day or night, but if I didn't I would be at the FHC on a more regular basis.
