Let me add to the discussion... You are correct about Calvary Cemetery -- very difficult to get quick infomation from them. St. John's, however, recently computerized -- something they don't seem to publicize. I was there yesterday about my 3 adjoining family graves. I was greeted by a VERY nice receptionist, who pulled up my information in the computer by plot # and read to me the names of the 5 people buried there. However, she was quickly interrupted by a supervisor who then insisted I pay $60 (and wait 6 to 8 weeks) for written confirmation of the data on the graves. That's how these cemeteries make money to survive these days!
