Elizabeth, I apologize for not reading your original post more clearly in regard to Jacob's wife's name (Elizabeth, rather than Eva). I suspect that the 1900 & 1900 censuses I transcribed to the list may be for Jacob & Elizabeth's son, Jacob, who is listed with them in the 1880 census and was born about 1853/1854. It's very helpful when posting a query like yours to mention when the people were born, as it helps us to eliminate non-matches. On the 1880 census, the family (Jacob age 62, Elizabeth age 54, Jacob jr. age 26, William age 22 and Louis age 20) is listed as living on Borden Avenue. Jacob was born in 1818 and was 62 in 1880. Elisabeth was born in 1826 and was 54 in 1880. It is possible they called her Eva. Elizabeth Elizabeth V. Thank you... I apologize for not giving more information....Eva could be Elizabeth....I guess.... Jacob Frey Jrs. Wife was definitely not EVA...his first wifes name was Francisca and she had died by then. His second wifes name was Louise. I am beginning to conclude that the elder Freys....Jacob and Elisabeth died before the 1900 census. Elizabeth V. Cardinal evc1369@comcast.net http://www.geocities.com/Wellesley/Garden/4548/
