I checked the IGG which has a wonderful data base of deaths in Queens county between 1898 and 1929. Conclusion: Died sometime between 1880 and 1898. Too bad 1890 census does not exist. Maybe if I save my pennies, I could have the Municipal archives find their death certificates for me <grin> Sometimes you just have to laugh...it is better for you than crying.
