I was told by a researcher that Family History Centers would not offer ancestry.com accesss for free. (You have to be at the FHC and using their computers.) This researcher is located in Australia; I would assume this is true here in the US, not just overseas. I tried looking for this information on the familysearch.org site but couldn't find it. Major WHOOPS! I meant to say that I was told that FHCs *were* going to have free access to the ancestry.com databases. (I'm guessing it will be something similar to the library edition of ancestry.com..) My library just started offering the library edition of ancestry.com after offering Heritage Quest for the past 2 years or so -- maybe ancestry.com is expanding their free access? Perhaps with the Mormon church sharing some of its records?
