The German Genealogy Group will hold its next monthly meeting on Thursday, June 2nd at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, The Family History Center at 160 Washington Avenue, Plainview New York. The program topic will be “Why Did They Come?", the reasons for the great immigration of the 19th century. The presenter is Jane Ellen Swan, author of “The Saxon Chronicles: The Millers’ Daughters”, the last of her trilogy.
