However, it seems everywhere I turn there's that darned brick wall smacking me. Somewhere & sometime I know I must connect...hoping that I might run into someone out there that has all the info I need. until then, I'll keep digging away. Thanks for taking the time to send me the info. Yes, they were Catholic ~ so possibly there MAY be a Catholic church in that area ( Queens) that was operating at that time. although their first son was baptised at 13 days old in Catholic church at Chatham, Ontario, Canada...so I may not even be searching in correct area. its just that I found someone by same name as my G. Grandmother in Queens Co. in 1850 ~ the year before my Grandfather William was born... so I was hoping. & Thanks again, Lois
