Based on the obituary I have for Catherine Mc Elroy, it will serve me no purpose to pursue her. The obit shows she is survived by an only son and my great grandfather. I know all of her descendants. What I was hoping to find may have been more information on a passenger list such as we find on those who came through Ellis Island. A quick check on the other lists had me soon realizing the mystery I am trying to solve....will not be solved on this side of the Pond. Even cousins living in Ireland cannot locate the actual place of birth of my great grandfather and his brother and sisters. Seems like no one is willing to say they are living "on the old place" for fear of having to share it <grin> Thanks again everyone. Elizabeth V.
