No bride is shown on the index. This is the year in which you believe Gertrude died---maybe from the Spanish flu. Further research on grooms can be done in the printed books issued by the New York City Dept. of Health. Perhaps they were microfilmed by the Family History Library (Salt Lake City). I am not familiar with the resources at the Municipal Archives in Manhattan, but there are a few experts that hang out at the New York County (of New York State) board at Ancestry.com. Reg Niles
