Just where would one be able to view the 1892 census for Long Island City, Queens Co., NY? Is there anything about it on the Internet? There is a 1892 census for Queens and also Brooklyn. There is an index for, I believe, Long Island City in Queens for the Census. There is a finding aid for the 1892 Census for Brooklyn written by Joseph M Silinonte. I f I recall correctly the 1890 census for Brooklhaven, Suffolk County, NY is the only that survived. I am about to order the 1892 name index (Film # 1851870) for the Hunters Point Area of Long Island City. When it arrives, I would be happy to assist you. Vince
