Smith, died Feb 13 1947 and his death certificate says he was buried in Calvary a few days later. I called Calvary to find the plot, and was told they have no listing. I called a second time a few weeks later, thinking perhaps the first time was a fluke, and got the same answer. I thought I'd try a few other cemeteries in Queens, just in case the death certificate was wrong, but the first one I called (St Michael's) told me in no uncertain terms that if it's listed on the death certificate, that's where he is.
