I've not been able to find out much information regarding my GG Grandfather Karl Rieker prior to him settling in Ohio. According to a family story, Karl immigrated to the US and lived with his sister in New York before heading to Ohio. Karl arrived in 1883, and was born in 1856, so wondering if anyone has a female Rieker who was born in the 1850's and lived in New York in the 1880's in their tree.
