Both were bornprior t 1930 and should be in census records. 1920 is availabe via www.familysearch.org Need to find an obit for brothers Russell and Malachi Hawkins. Both were born in South Carolina and both were living in Jamaica, New York at the time of their death. Malachi Hawkins died October 12, 2004 Russell Hawkins died March 19, 2003 I found them in the SSDI, I am trying to find other avenues of getting family info without having to order their ss app, since I am planning on ordering that for others in my research that are top priority.
