Am wondering how active this list is--more than message board gateways? I am looking for Administrations in the Surrogate's Office, NY, that were in something called File Box of Original Papers on Queens County (1787-1829). Are these at the Surrogate Court in Queens? In the NYC Municipal Archives? On film with LDS? I would like a copy of a letter supposedly in some estate papers from 1798. Thank you. Elizabet
