This was done with the help of VFW Headquarters and them putting me in contact with the Department of VFW in New York State. My Uncle Matthew was Commander from 1942-1943 and Uncle Andrew was Commander from 1950-1951. I still hope to get their original applications and photo of them at VFW Post as commanders.
