About the 5th time I looked at the census I noticed that on the original document the Scho was crossed out and Daros was there. It was hard to see for anyone. Something else that may help. Margherita Da Ros' naturalization - http://search.ancestry.com/Browse/view.aspx?dbid=1192&path=New York.Eastern District of New York.Dao, Clementine to DeKulil, John.3605&sid=&gskw=Margherita Da Ros - the address is the same as the 1930 census except for the street. Queens streets went from names to numbers. Is it possible that the family still lives there - maybe. The neighbor has changed a lot - so I don't think they would still be there but one never knows. Question - does the Navy help in anyway with the expense of locating the families. Meaning - it appears that Albina's family may still be living in Huntington - through Social Security the last known address should be available. Would the Navy pay for this information?
