It is good to know these things. However, once a Church says no to me I don't want to pursue it. I just try to find out information thru other avenues. This is my own personal opinion and others need to do what they need to do. It is like a cemetery, if some one told me not to take photos I would leave immediately. I am only researching ancestors who are or were related to me or if some of my relatives ask me to look into one of their relatives I will help out. It never hurts to ask Churches and than do what they say. I was just seeing if people have had the same things happen to them as happened to me.
