I couldn't find Gustav and/or Elizabeth in 1910 or 1930, but I may have found Gustav on Ellis Island. The 1920 census says he was born in Chile about 1886 of German parents, and Ellis Island shows a 4-year-old Gustav Lange arriving from Rio in 1892 of German parents. You might try tracking some of his siblings. Diane
