Author: jonesj47 Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.newyork.counties.queens/4413.1.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: No, that's not him but that's the first Gaetano I've seen. Maybe it's under Gastano. I'll check that out. I see he signed it Tommy (at least it looks like it), which would explain how he got to be called Tom. He was born May 8, 1888 and came over when he was 11 in 1899. Do you have any idea about Elizabeth St.? Seems a lot of aliens went there when they got to America. I believe he was going to meet his brother Marinello Salvatore at 240 Elizabeth St. Appreciate the help. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Author: gravelady2 Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.newyork.counties.queens/4411.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: What a great picture. I can see why you might think that it was taken at the World's fair as the back drop is painted like those used in a studio. The car is set up to almost be "the car of the future" type of thing. The clothes the women are wearing look to me like 1920's early 30's. You might want to look in your LL for books that help you to ID pictures and the time in which they were taken. That might give you a better idea as to the time period. I hope there is someone car enthusiast who might know the make and model of the car they are sitting in. Good Luck with your mystery.
