I never saw the Niznik split. Do you know what area most of the Niznik's would have come from? My great grandmother on your mid wife certificate listed birth place as St. Mihal Saros-Made, Austria, Hungary. Her brother on his immigration application list birth place as Brazonici, Austria, Hungary. Both spoke Czech so I think it depended on what country controlled Czechoslovakia in that time perios which is 1800s. So much of Europe was taken over by different countries. Any help would be great?
