    1. [NYQUEENS] Lillian Judd
    2. Lillian Judd was the daughter of William W. and Olive (Reed) Judd, born ca 1902 possibly in Manhattan, and I have been able to locate her through the 1930 census when she was at University Avenue in the Bronx single and working, and no longer with her family in Manhattan, but nothing definite since that date. At _www.ItalianGen.org_ (http://www.ItalianGen.org) I found this marriage record that looks tempting, but not solid enough to purchase a record of unless I have reason to. Her father died 1920-1928, and her mother remarried Christian Donges in May 1928. Link to Grooms Judd Lillian Mar 9 1932 #817 Queens J300 Surname Given Name Month of Marriage Day of Marriage Year of Marriage County Certificate Number Soundex Lucaretti Michael Mar 9 1932 Queens 817 L263 I'm hopeful that someone can provide some thoughts or information to help me learn more about this woman and her branch of the family if possible. She is the grand-daughter of Samuel Burrage Reed, and therefore one of the descendants of John C. Reed, whose descendancy I'm working on. What kind of available records might tell me if this Lillian and Michael Lucaretti were living in Queens after their marriage, and produced further records, etc.? After the 1930 census I'm out of ideas. Thanks for any help you may offer. Carol Boggs

    2. If you know when and where he died, look in the newspapers at that time for an obituary. Obits generally list any spouse or children and possibly a sibling or two. This will give you a start in finding any family he left behind, which, if I'm reading your post correctly, is what you want to find. Also check with the cemetery and/or funeral home to see if they list any remaining family. His death certificate would lie the relative who provided any information for the certificate. I'm just going to treat them as two different people until I have further links. I also believe that he was a young man when he came to the USA.
